First off, let me say that I love the ambience of the place. It's elegant, bright, and contemporary. I also love the simplicity of the menu (10 entrees with the same pricing). Everything on the menu is cooked to order to ensure freshness of flavour. We've tried several dishes but here are some of my favourites The Seafood Tomato Spaghetti Pasta utterly satisfied the glands on my tongue which filled my mouth with saliva. The first bite I took was slightly dabbed with the sauce and after biting into it, I knew the second bite must be DROWNED in the sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the tomatoes added a refreshing touch to the dish. The best part is that they did not skimp out on seafood. I also recommend the Pork Pilaf (Rice Pilaf with Grilled Pork and vegetables on top). It's warm and comforting and the rice grains had a slightly chewy fried exterior. Or if you really hungry, then you can get the Pilaf and the Chicken/Pork Steak Salad. To be honest, having Korean and Italian on the same menu was a little bit of a surprise but the food truly did not disappoint. Check them out when you're in the area.
Yeeeeyyyy!!! I'm just so glad The Cook opened up here. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in Metro Manila food scene. I studied/lived in Korea for two years and I must say, the food looks and tastes every bit as good as my favorite fusion restaurant in Korea, 서가앤쿡. Hihihi! Plus, the service is wonderful. Everyone is accommodating! I will always be back everytime my cravings get me. :

Looking for a Sunday lunch and found this place. Aware of the menu being good for 2 to 3 person..but what the heck I'm hungry....the plate is huge! And healthy being a korean dish, and as always, delicious! I have to take out the rest though
Was looking for a korean restaurant in BGC before I reported to work last Thursday and we found The Cook on zomato which had good reviews. We ordered the seafood tomato spaghetti. I was eating with my bestfriend and we are both fans of pasta dishes so we opted for this one. The serving was good for 2-3 people. The dish was made more delicious with shrimp, squid and clams/cockles (not sure which). Although there were a few clams we weren't able to eat because it was still closed shut, overall, it tasted good. We also ordered the salad with their home-made dressing. One of the best salads I've had. There were pineapples, corn, red cabbage, turnip, lettuce, tomatoes and a sweet dressing to put it all together. The side pickled radishes were also good. You can expect every korean restaurant to serve that side dish. All in all, the lunch was delicious. I just wish they offer an option to order smaller portions so that we can try other dishes too. But this place is recommended when you're going in as a group since all of the choices on the menu are good for sharing. Two thumbs up!
