Ice cream and coffee were pretty decent, so I would suggest this place as a quick post-lunch/dinner coffee stop. As of writing this review though, service still seems a little disorganised. When the place gets full, service seems to be all over the place which doesn’t help mask the fact that the acoustics in the place weren’t done so well. We sat close to the corner and the sounds were echoing like crazy. Would still come back here for coffee and ice cream though, I just won’t stay for too long inside the place.
Went here yesterday for dinner. We were immediately seated by the bar and served by nice and friendly staff. I ordered a masala chai latte and the prawn paste chicken, both of which were served within 15 minutes! The chai latte was the BEST I've tried so far here in Manila. It's the only one that resembles the chai lattes I used to order in Australia before, and Australia takes their lattes very seriously The prawn paste chicken was served with rice and papaya salad. The papaya salad was very refreshing. There was also a lot more rice than expected couldn't even finish it by the end of the meal! Moving on to the chicken, it was also fantastic. The prawn paste gave the chicken a really well rounded flavour without being overly salty. The skin of the chicken was also nicely crispy, with a crunch whenever you bite into it. Overall, I was very impressed by the service and quality of the food here in Elephant Grounds. It's a bit pricey (like everything else in BGC lol), but you actually get your money's worth. I can't wait to try the rest of the dishes on the menu!
Great food awesome staff, great service. They're very accommodating. Will definitely a regular guest We ordered Flat White, Tapa Donburi Rice Bowl, Thai Shrimp Salad Thai Milk Tea. All food is a must try.
And we made it to the weekend, finally with mi amiga, firs time dinner out this pandemic... We ordered gruyere grilled cheese sandwich and egg angus sourdough burger. Lovely restaurant, good food but menu choices were limited. But will be back definitely!
We ordered Tapa Donburi, Nori Fries and Bacon-Steak and Egg Waffle. We loved the fries and the waffle!!! The tapa was served a bit cold but otherwise the taste was okay. Overall, it was a good dining experience
