Artichokes with calamari, grilled octopus, white beans with sausage, roasted chicken with mushrooms, roasted leg of lamb... all wonderful at a very reasonable price. It is like going back many years where food was coked naturally and well.
The place remains one of the best locations known by locals. Recommended if you want to try real Catalan food. A little advice, in the weekend makes a reservation and be there early. The place fulls quickly and the service deteriorates a little. Meat is the best choice. Served in several ways. Recommended a la pedra on the stone.
An unimposing building in a tiny roadside hamlet hides a gem of a restaurant. Six of us had an excellent lunch at Ca La Nasia, the room is spacious and the decor simple but atmospheric, with raw volcanic rock walls. The tables are well spaced to maintain an ambience of cordiality without intrusion. Our lunch started typically with Iberico ham and house baked bread rubbed with olive oil and tomato. All subsequent dishes were seasonal and typically Catalan, a tart of roasted vegetables, squid with baby artichokes, a plate of fresh morels, Cote de bouef served on a hot plate, perfectly seared but wonderfully tender and rare. The wine list was good, with a nice selection of local bottles at very good prices, we enjoyed a nice red from within 20km which complemented the beef, the owner was also waitressing and very attentive and helpful. The dessert list was varied and all enjoyed their choices. I had a light gateau with caramelised pinenuts which was lovely. The majority of the customers were known to the staff and it is obvious why they patronise the place, the warm welcome and good food will always make this a destination worth the trip.
Es tracta d'un restaurant generacional, amb cinquanta anys d'història a la Garrotxa. L'interior del local consta de diversos menjadors, d'estil rústic, les parets del qual són de pedra, que contrasta amb la modernitat i el bon gust en el parament de les seves taules i que el fan atractiu i acollidor. La distribució i separació entre les taules és ideal i el tracte del servei és proper, amable i molt correcte. Hem fet el menú diari per un preu de 15 euros, molt encertat i coherent, tant per la quantitat de les racions com per la qualitat del producte servit. Les postres són casolanes i el seu pastís de formatge és genial, però el tiramisú és millorable. Feia anys que no hi havia anat a dinar i avui puc confirmar que ha estat una experiència satisfactòria.
Ambiente muy agradable, bonita decoración y trato sensacional. Nos presentamos sin reserva, un domingo, con la sala llena y no dudaron en montarnos una mesa para cuatro improvisada. Servicio atento y profesional y esmero en la presentación de los platos. El producto, de buenísima calidad y la atención, de primera. Un auténtico disfrute! Para repetir, sin duda.
