The staff is extremely friendly and efficient, we were properly welcome and when the dishes arrived it was a very pleasant surprise. The environment is also nice, decorated with great taste.
This restaurant is across the tiny parking lot from the "best" hotel in town. It appears to be patronized primarily by locals. They don't speak any English, and there's no English version of the menu, so make sure you have a translator app handy. The food was pretty good, and while the prices were steep to my American eyes, my colleagues assured me that it was quite affordable as these things go. I ate here several times & enjoyed nearly everything I got. A word to the wise: do NOT order the Andouillette sausage. This is NOT the French version of that Cajun sausage you love so much at home. (Hint, it's one of the ways they use ALL of the pig.) I think she tried to warn me, but of course the warning was in French, so... I will say that it came with a lovely little salad and the best french fries I've ever put in my mouth.BTW, it turns out that it's not normal there (in that region? In France? In Europe?) to pay at the table. When you're ready to leave, don't wait/ask for the check. Simply walk to the bar. They know where you were sitting and will have your ticket ready. You'll pay there. CC's accepted.
