Been to Taggs a few times, always a good place to go for good food, reasonable priced,and friendly staff, lovely

The first time there today and the first thing they notice is the way it was designed and decorated. they would not think it was a caffe with a bar in the corner, but somehow everything worked. service was great, eating was top notch especially the big breakfast. large selection on the menu and the bar with non-alcoholic beer that some restaurants do not serve what was a plus for me.

I have very high standards when it comes to English breakfast food, so I don’t say this lightly: I’ve just eaten possibly the best sausage egg sandwich of my life here! Lovely white bloomer bread 2x orange yolky eggs cooked to perfection. If I had to make any sort of criticism it only would be that the sausages could have been a bit posher but that would be very unfair. Plus sometimes you don’t necessarily want poncy gourmet sausages if they were then they’d have to charge you more honestly you will not find a better S E sandwich for under a £5er. Staff were also lovely friendly. Definitely give it a go!
