Sam's Sushi - La Quinta

I requested a soy wrap for the mango roll, but it wasn’t an issue at all. The service is always excellent, and I absolutely love Sam’s. I will keep recommending you to everyone! The sushi is fantastic!

Disgusting. I ordered the Sam's roll salmon sashimi, and it tasted like gas station sushi. The rice was dry, the seaweed had a fishy flavor, and the strips of fish were very thin but tough and also tasted fishy. I'm appalled that it cost $50. We had to gargle, floss, and brush our teeth right after eating it.

Appetizers were good. Had tempura,calamari dumplings and all were good. Chicken teriyaki good. But the sushi is just not good. The rice falls apart when you pick up a roll,the shrimp to crab ratio was way off (sometimes less is more) just not good.

The experience was just average. The tuna lacked flavor and reminded me of supermarket sushi. I found myself needing a lot of soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger to make my Tuna Teka Maki Hand Roll enjoyable.

You should definitely try Sam's! The sushi and tempura, as well as everything else on the menu, are incredibly fresh. The service is fantastic—really friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is clean and tidy, though not overly fancy. Overall, I would give the food a 5/5!
