Marie's Diner - La Plata

Definitely sit on the waiting list! We were there on Sunday. I'm glad when I googled it, I entered the waiting list... at this point it was 75 minutes. It ended more than 90 minutes, but WELL WORTH IT!!! The food is good and you get a lot of it. My husband has pork chops, eggs, fries and toast. I had the NY Strip dinner with a salad, sweet potatoes, corn fries and maize bread. It was enough food for two people. Everything came out hot; definitely gets bonus points for it. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive. Can't forget to mention the prices. They were the best for any place we ate in this area.

The chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich was enormous and packed with filling. The waffles could have been cooked a bit longer for a better texture, but they were still fluffy and delicious. However, the eggs on the side were lackluster and lacked flavor. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent. Overall, the text notifications for updates worked well.

Wow, the service and food quality never disappoint! This is our go-to spot for family breakfasts. You get a generous portion of food at affordable prices, and let me tell you, it's absolutely delicious. You must try the crab soup—it's incredible!

Good food!!! Homemade cooking! Service is great, the atmosphere is good, but they could benefit from an update/upgrade on the interior design. It is quite outdated and has the look of an old diner with old stands But the food makes up the lack of decoration!

Great family diner, very generous portion sizes and delicious food. Will definitely be back. Great to support local family owned non chain restaurants
