Arriving late one evening at la plagne, the Ti and Yu was the only place still open so we rang ahead with our order. Despite arriving at exactly the time we said we would, the pizza and burger had been prepared a long time previously and were already lukewarm. Only the fries were made fresh for the order when I arrived. Again the pizza was thin and extremely greasy. Meanwhile the burger was a disaster. Stale hard bread, a completely overcooked puck of a patty, creamy sauce making the whole thing collapse on all sides and a tiny slice of cheese. It was awful and I only ate because I was so hungry. Curiously the fries were very good. At 15,50€ for takeaway, it was a ridiculous rip off. I think next time I get in that late, I'll have a muesli bar and an early night.
We walked by earlier in the day and were drawn in by the amazing wood fired pizzery smell so decided to visit that evening. It’s a small place with a few tables and a great atmosphere. We were looked after very well and the pizzas arrived quickly surprising considering the number of people popping in for a takeaway! We changed one topping for a preferred cheese which was the best idea as the pizza was incredible! We also had a ‘from the menu’ pizza which was equally as nice. The guy who was running the place was really patient and friendly as I was sorting out my card issues at the end too. Would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for pizza :
Simple pizza and suppers. Good service. Quick ish. Ideal for family. Better than eating at restaurants as quick and food is better quality.
Very friendly services, small and warm place and most, good, very good pizza, best on the Alps. thanks.
The best pizza in La Plagne Excellent food and superb service Small place but we were able to get a table every time by booking in advance
