Figaro's Pizza - La Pine

I dine here approximately once a week. When you work two jobs, cooking at home isn't always an option, but I've never had an issue with my pizza—it’s honestly the best in town. The staff is well-trained; as someone who works as a cook myself, I can tell they are attentive and maintain a clean kitchen—it’s always spotless. Even when younger customers were spilling soda and hanging around, the staff remained calm and collected. On rainy days, they even brought my pizza to me while I waited in my vehicle. I truly appreciate all the hard work and the great pizza. Thank you, everyone!

As for kid-friendliness, it’s a very respectable family-oriented place. They hire a lot of local workers, including high school and college students. I appreciated the single-pass salad bar. We devoured the Hawaiian and combo pizzas like wolves at a feast. The fried chicken was top-notch! I was surprised at how expensive the pitchers of beer were. Just to note, there are no strippers.

We called ahead to place our order since we live in Chemult, and were told it would take 35 to 45 minutes, which was perfect for us to drive in. However, when my daughter arrived, she was told to wait a minute because the pizzas were still in the oven. Then, we heard one of the teenage workers yell a profanity after dropping a pizza. Another customer asked if it was theirs, and the teenager said no, then called out my daughter's name, indicating it was hers. They quickly remade the pizza and were very apologetic, but that didn’t solve the issue of my other pizza getting cold while we waited for the second one. I also think their oven needs a better daily cleaning or maintenance because our pizzas, which were supposed to be original crust, ended up looking and tasting like thin crust—burnt and difficult to chew.

I had the worst pizza experience ever! I ordered two medium pizzas—one thin crust and one pan. The thin crust was the size of a soft taco tortilla and was burnt to a crisp. The pan pizza was rock hard and had hardly any cheese on it. When I asked the staff about their favorite crust while ordering, one of the girls said, "I don't like pizza," which should have been a warning sign. Honestly, it was barely edible!
