Chalet La Suisse - La Paz

Excellent food, relaxed ambience and helpful staff. We enjoyed our dinner.

There was no time I had a bad experience here. The best restaurant in town, hands down. Suisse is known to be a place to celebrate special occasions: it is of course expensive, but the quality of the food is perfect. You will not have bad experience here, highly recommended.

Always delicious. Professional and friendly from the beginning "until you go. Your birthday is very welcome and celebrated with their friendly attention. Scallops are highly recommended as starters.

Definitely one of the best places to have a dinner, delicious flavor (specially with seafood) overall 8 10, even though the staff wasn't particularly helpful to give recommendations advices related to altitude sickness. Pricy I will say but quality is not cheap for sure... It's a must in La Paz....

Mediocre when you consider the price. The staff were extremely nice. The food was mostly very high quality, however the Argentinian Rib Eye steak I had was nothing special. Tough and bland despite being cooked well. It came with a great vegetable assortment, but was accompanied by very boring french fries. The Asparagus Gratinado was very good however. For desert we had the Fondu de Chocolate which was decent, but again did not live up to the price. For the entire meal for two the cost was over 500bs, which I would have had no problem paying if the cooking matched the price. Maybe the chef 's recommendation of the Rib Eye steak was not the proper route. I would have preferred a more specialized meal than a bland steak which lacked any sort of seasoning. The sauce next to it added very little to the flavor of the beef.
