Muy sabroso y buena atención aunque los precios ya están un poco elevados

My friend took me here last year. Great little place to have lunch. The food is fresh and authentic mexican. Very reasonable place to eat. Servings are generous. A bit tough to find but be persistent it is worth the time.

We picked up a copy of the Gringo newspaper here and the featured restaurant was El Rincon Chilango. After reading about its Mexico City roots, we just had to try it. Being visitors and not residents, it was a bit of a challenge to find...as street signage is not the best. So, we went to the general area; and not being shy, asked people on the street. We were quickly pointed to the restaurant. It consists of plastic tables and chairs in a little courtyard. The waitress who didn't speak English was patient with our limited Spanish and the result was a very delicious authentic meal. I had never tried a tlacoyo before and decided it was time for something new. What arrived were two wonderful blue corn masa cakes stuffed with cheese and beans with nopales (cactus, if you haven't tried this you must) onions, cheese and salsa. My husband ordered enchiladas with the best mole sauce I have ever tasted. You will not be sorry you ventured off the malecon!
