El Ganzo - La Paz

Positivo: El lugar es hermoso, el ambiente muy agradable, placentero para pasar un buen rato.Negativo: El desayuno, chilaquiles en salsa verde, solo eran un montón de tortillas aguadas con salsa insípida y queso encima, $200 pesos? Carisimo........pésimo desayuno.

The food is great but the atmosphere is terrific. Think of sitting on the outside deck and watching the marina with yachts and fishing boats meandering their way to and from the Sea of Cortez. A glass of wine as an an accompaniment, maybe. Brunch and lunch are the limit of our experience and we can testify to the quality of both.... from many visits. This limitless deck restaurant with the hotel it is located in, is far from the maddening tourist crowd and very tranquil. Much more tasteful than the large hotels along the hotel corridor.A complaint? Well we are not sure if it is a complaint or an added aspect to the tranquility but, depending on your point of view the ( usually painfully slow) but very friendly service is either a virtue or a blessing. As much as we love this place that aspect could use improvement. In the meanwhile make sure you have a fair amount of time to spend there. It is quality time though and reminds one of old Mexico where people took their time and enjoyed the passing scene.

This hip boutique hotel revolves around art and popular culture. Each of the sixty-nine rooms has a great view of the marina and coastline. The decor of the place is beyond description. Overall, the place has a cool and artsy vibe.

Small hotel, sparsely furnished,,rooms are poorly layed out. Like staying in a phone booth. Cannot bring in liquor. This place is expensive, Why am I paying so much to stay here? The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere. What was I thinking?The service is good, the food is mediocre, the staff is trying hard to make it work....NOT coming back...

Steak is really bad for the price. 5 shrimps = 500 pesos (25 euros). Really really bad Mojitos not bad but not up to the image
