Les Meulières - La Livinière

This was the first time that we’d visited this restaurant although we’d passed by many times previously on the way elsewhere. On this occasion, we were part of an organised cycle meander where I think that there were twelve of us on a beautiful sunny day mid-September via the back doubles from Homps for a noon sitting. We’d wisely booked not least because of our number but also because the restaurant became quite busy. The service was welcoming and relaxed yet efficient given our number. The choice of fare was not huge but certainly enough with sufficient to cater for most tastes. The wine was on this occasion exclusively a local (of course) house rose’ and whilst not my favoured colour went down very easily and surprisingly quickly. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions very reasonable. I think that we spent around 2.5 to 3 hrs over lunch which was very pleasant and extremely good value at around E25 a head. We’ll certainly be aiming to return for lunch again when next in the area although maybe not so ‘mob handed’ next time. Would happily recommend for a relaxing, good value, French village restaurant lunch.

Très bon restaurant, nous avons pris le menu a 36€ avec le homard en entrée, la dorade avec gambas en milieu et moelleux au chocolat poir dessert, tout était très bon, les quantités sont parfaite. Les serveurs très gentil et un super bon accueil. Je recommande et n'hésiterais pas à y retourner.

Belle place ombragée, menu avec produits régionaux, je conseille vivement
