I've been wanting to go to Donovan's for the longest time since I'm trying to figure out for myself which steakhouse in San Diego I like best.

I live in a walking distance from their previous location in UTC, and I agree with many reviewers here who said the new location is no match to their former

We came here for SDRW around 7pm on a SundayIt wasn't crowded at all, there were maybe 6 tables total plus some sitting at the bar.

The view is great if you are lucky to get a table through a window. The food for the rest of the week was only moderate. The shrimp cocktail included 2 jumbo shrimps in a small piece cocktail sauce with very little taste. The shrimps were frozen in the middle. The fillet was good, but my friend's steak was served cold. The best part was the cream brulee.
