They check items from a paper list that includes Nigiri, special rolls (i.e. caterpillars, rainbows) and hand rolls... a good selection of sushi. the only cave is that you have to sit at the sushi bar. It is a small place run by koreans, so try to come during non-peak hours and do not expect to stellar service.
We had to eat in a place that was spectacular before a friend went to Boston, so we decided to go for some ridiculous, all you can eat sushi. Tadashi, on the very expensive restaurant street of Prospect in La Jolla, was the destination. It has a very clean and beautiful decor. We were initially confused as they do not advertise all-you-can-eat sushi outside the restaurant or on the menu. Tricky! All you can eat works like this: your group gets 1 sheet of paper listing sushis and appetizers beautiful touch), and you mark how many of you want. Be warned: whatever you do not finish, you will be charged. But we had four people, so we got beautiful diversity and ridiculous amount of sushi. Get your hands! I suggest the Salmon Skin Handroll. Otherwise, just order your favorite sushis and then sick to eat them. Bottom line: You will probably eat your $25 value sushi. $20 during lunch I think). If you are ready to spend 25 dollars and like sushi, its definitely come here.
Located in Downtown La Jolla, it’s easy to get lost and not find your way (which happened to me and my boyfriend). From the outside it looks very small but great things some in small packages!
If you love the plentiful amounts of sushi, then this is the place to go. It is much better than any other anything you can eat sushi places because you order almost everything from the menu and they make it fresh. It is a fantastic concept and even better experience. The problem is that they use the paper application method. Here you get a paper with small boxes next to any item in the menu and you decided at the beginning what you want to eat. So begin to check away and probably choose almost everything on the menu because your eyes are bigger then your stomach. Soon food begins. You have a good time, you eat, eat. Then you know that you only have about 1/2 things on your checklist... Oh. It's time to step it on a notch. So start compressing it in more and more food in the hope of your stomach... but unfortunately you can't win. Luckily you can just say that they don't do anything that is not done yet and take it from your list: This is the sensible approach. Otherwise, you will be like us and feel really sick afterwards. But it was still great! 1 further note: The place is really small, so try to go on top days/time or expect to wait a bit. You have to sit at the sushi bar to eat everything.
An old San Diego Favorite!! All-you-can-stuff-in-your-face sushi for just $25! The quality is quite daring for the price and there are a variety of enough to keep you happy.
