Prep Kitchen - La Jolla

The location is a bit of a distance from the beach, but the journey is definitely worthwhile. The fish tacos made with mahi mahi were fantastic, and the chicken dish was enjoyable as well. The potatoes were delicious, though the side vegetables were a little salty for my taste. The drinks were good overall, but the Sangria could have been more flavorful.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was incredibly tasty. I had a delightful pasta bolognese that I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were excellent as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We sat outside and were very well looked after. Outdoor heaters for those feeling the chill that evening. Food was fabulous.

The food was pretty good. Not outstanding. The prices were very fair for La Jolla. The server was very polite and attentive. One interesting fact is that the fish on the fish and chips was grilled. That was a first. I never thought about asking if the fish was going to be fried. We sat outside, so it was typical outdoor Beach breakfast atmosphere. Very relaxed and great for the little ones to explore while we sat.

This restaurant has two locations in the San Diego area. The La Jolla location looks like it mainly offered outdoor seating which was fine on a pleasant June evening. The staff were friendly and engaging with a good knowledge of the menu. The brussel sprout appetizer was great. Crab cakes and the Chicken entrees were also very good. Finished off with the blueberry cake and ice cream for dessert. Street parking was not hard to find.
