Pizza Hut - La Jolla

Food and service were better than expected. My previous and few experiences with pizza hat chains had made me believe it was rough and greasy, but tried it again at this point due to a discount code, and everything was a great value, tasty and not greasy. The guy who gave us our pizza at Carry-Out had glasses and long hair. I wish I would check his name; he was extremely polite and I would have let his superior know we were impressed.

I stopped to order request last minute during the visit of family. The service was fast and the checkout was friendly. I would recommend this place. *Update from another visit* Not sure why, but this time the pizza was better. The sauce has more taste, my pizza got hit and the pizza super hot when I picked it up. Almost burned my hand on the box in fact. Very happy with the pizza quality from this pizza hat location!

I asked about the $5 menu. To my shame I had to buy 2 other items on the list and I go solo and not try to go to a food skoma. The guy behind the desk tells me I'd just save a dollar on the calzone I wanted to save so I wouldn't save much if I didn't eat with someone. Well, I put my order for the full price and had a call and stepped out for a bit to not be rude to others. No one really likes to hear one-sided conversations, even if they realize I'm on the phone. Apparently, I was out longer than I thought, because the guy who took my order also took him outside. What a little guy Guillermo is. Excellent customer service.
