Super delicious food. Great atmosphere. Service was on point. Highly recommend the crab cake benny.

San Diego is home to many fantastic breakfast and brunch spots, but Little Lion Cafe stands out as one of my favorites. The Belgian waffles are the best I've ever tasted, with a perfect texture and delightful aromas. We also tried the eggs Benedict with crab cakes, which were flavorful and packed with generous chunks of crab meat. The Belgian potatoes were crispy and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was delicious. Be prepared for a wait if you arrive during peak hours around 10-11 AM, but you can pass the time with a stroll around Sunset Cliffs.

The food is fresh and delicious. The drink selection is exciting, and I highly recommend pairing your brunch with a coffee! I only waited about 10 minutes on a Wednesday at 1:00.

I visited this café for a breakfast sandwich and discovered that they only offer one option featuring egg salad. However, the waitress suggested making a scrambled egg sandwich for me, and it turned out to be delicious! I ordered mine to go, but the outdoor seating area at this café is really charming.

Delicious food and very friendly service. They were very busy and we had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it. Will be back when we get back to San Diego!
