Cove House La Jolla

My crab Benedict was delicious. It was served hot and the portion size was perfect for the price.

The restaurant had a great location, but the coffee was not very good and the egg Benedict was disappointing. However, the chilaquiles were delicious! The sauce was excellent.

This restaurant is truly amazing. It's worth the effort to find parking because the lunch/brunch options are fantastic. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. I highly recommend the steak and eggs, fish special, stone crab omelet, and citrus salad. Our server, Grace, was incredibly attentive and on top of everything. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is accommodating to special dietary needs. Overall, this is a top-notch spot in La Jolla. The menu is very flexible with well-marked options for gluten-free and vegetarian diets.

Fish tacos (halibut) were drier than the Sahara desert. Bloodymary’s were WEAK. The outdoor seating is nice though. Waitress brought out waters with a nice insect addition (fly). Definitely don’t come here expecting gourmet food. ?

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was impressed. The service was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my California Benny with a delicious biscuit. The drinks were also fantastic. I will definitely be coming back here when I return.
