Pepe's - La Habra

Food: Pepe's is a franchise, so the menu is almost the same as other locations...almost the same. I ordered the #TostadaSalad with #CarneAsada. It was small but was piled with chopped fresh iceberg lettuce, Carne Asada, salsa, slices of avocado,sour cream, beans, rice, cheese, and came with a side of cilantro dressing. It was $9. Service: There were about 10 cars ahead of me but I only waited for maybe 6 minutes or so. Friendly and accurate service. The dining area is notopen yet. Final thought: La Habrians are used to the menu selection at the Brea and Fullerton locations. Those locations offer a small healthier taco salad with out the fried tortilla shell for a few dollars less. I'd give a 5 ? if theyhad the same menu options as the near by locations. Until then, a solid 4 ????

Was excited to try this place, and after waiting in a long line?. my standards weren?t met. The asada was chewy and had a lot of fat. The meat needed some kind of seasoning. I got the asada nachos and a hard shell taco. The small nachos barely had any chips more Guac and cheese than anything else. The beef taco was ok? nothing special.

I've been going to Pepe's for a lot of years they're quality always stays consistent very good Mexican food keep up the good work
