Casa Violeta Restaurant

La Cocina de Casa Violeta es muy estándar, nada sorprendente, si bien sus jugos son ricos, y la pizza margarita es buena, me tocó pedir una ensalada de sandía con queso de cabra bastante regular, mal presentada y con una porción de queso y aderezos muy pobre. El servicio regular, aunque es destacable la amabilidad de Damián e Israel .

Un lugar increíble donde puedes tomar unos muy bien preparados tragos, ya sea un rico y tradicional mojito o un coctel con mezcal súper rico.Llegamos un poco tarde y hacia bastante viento, así que cuando ordenamos nuestra comida decidimos cambiar de la playita al interior del restaurante. Nos prepararon unas pizzas súper buenas, una vegetariana y otra de champiñones, además de un exquisito carpacho de calabacitas wow delicioso!Una atención súper amistosa y sus sugerencias buenísimas.Gente linda y atenta. Te invita a volver y a recomendar 100%!Gracias chicos!

The concierge at our hotel recommended the restaurant. It gad such potential as it is so pretty and well appointed. On the plus side, my ceviche was pretty good. My husband and daughter shared the pasta with lobster which was just okay. We got a red foccacia for the table. It was like a thin pizza with tasteless tomato sauce. We couldn't eat it. Everything with the exception of the foccacia was just fine.

When you come off of the strip of small bars retail shops and Street Food you do not expect to walk into a rainforest Oasis on the beach. Once you pull into the parking lot which was nice to be able to park in this area, you are greeted with old growth trees sand walkways and lanterns swaying in the ocean breeze. The food was spectacular, I had perhaps the most tender octopus I have ever eaten and the pizza came from an oven imported from Italy. As a New Yorker I am very picky about my Italian food and this was excellent. Because it is a hotel as well, there was an assortment of items available on the menu and my children loved the tacos and the Nutella crepe. This is the epitome of the Tulum wellness in terms of atmosphere, but the food was far superior to spots that are just healthy for the sake of being healthy. A real hidden gem!

We had breakfasts, lunches and dinners there on our honeymoon. Every meal was great. Fresh fruit, fresh fish and everything in between
