La Girafe - La Giettaz

We had lunch at the Giraffe during the February holidays, the staff were very, very friendly, we ate very well, the place is magnificent, unfortunately I just saw that the establishment burned down, we wish you good luck to all the team .

Lunch with friends on the giraffe terrace. Exceptional moment. Heartwarming welcome. Very good table at reasonable prices. One of the most beautiful views of Megeve. It's worth it, a little away from the circuit. But worth the detour. I highly recommend. Meal type: Lunch

Good meal BUT... in terms of waiting and price it's another story. 30 minutes to come and take your order. While the tables around arrive later and are served.... no excuses for having forgotten, it can happen but the minimum is the excuse. Price level we pay the rupin side that the place wants to give itself. For example, 12€ for a 50cl draft, the inn on the same slope below is 7.8€. A burger for almost €30... in short... it was good but value for money we're not there..... it's €10 more per dish compared to the other restaurants on the slopes.
