So I had the vegan ceviche which was the only option on the menu which was vegan. It was very small and spicy but the taste was interesting. It was just not filling so I went to another restaurant afterwards..When I go to a restaurant I expect to not have to go to another one..

A really bad experience, terrible service, no vegan options, not a good flavor!

Not much on offer for vegans. Waiter offered salad. We ordered the two salads, minus the meaty bits, along with some toast and hummus. My mango and chipotle salad ended up being just chickpeas, tomatoes, leaves and croutons as the mango was rock hard and the chipotle was an egg based mayo! I borrowed some of my boyfriend's passion fruit dressing which was tart and delicious (unlike the fresh passion fruit juice that I ordered, which was made from very unripe fruit! , and my salad was pretty tasty. The hummus was nothing like hummus but it was very tasty (mainly chickpeas and coriander . My boyfriend's salad wasn't bad odd combinations but tasted ok!

Had the vegan breakfast which was super good. TIP: You can also request for tofu in the bowls although it isn’t an option on the menu. Besides that there aren’t many other vegan options, just a vegan ceviche which I didn’t try. They offer plant based milk for drinks though Updated from previous review on 2021-06-06

Several vegan options including scrambled tofu, vegan breakfast, vegan ceviche... The food and service was amazing, and it was a lovely little cafe in La Fortuna- it really stood out!
