The menu is limited: 6 starters and 6 mailboxes. Around 12,000 pesos (3.5 euros) and beautiful. So a really good price / quality. But it's not a restaurant. A football match was on and the sound was annoying.
We went to this restaurant because of the high rankings and great reviews. It's disappointing. It is essentially a food dish. The Ceviche was okay. The other meal was some chicken with wok that don't taste good. This is certainly not one of the best restaurants in Bogota!
Good sized quality simple dishes from Peru, the cooker is Peruvian an she is also a very good host. I couldn't say which is favorite dish, they are all goood.
Within hours of our arrival in Colombia and in quest of some light food, we found ourselves in a building made of shipping containers architecturally mounted, each on top of and by the other. The building was worth a visit on its own. Once inside, we found that it contained a large number of small eateries and on the top floor, we found El Tigre Peru. First off, the staff (two young girls) were really friendly and seemed intrigued that we were less than 2 hours in the country. We told them what we liked and asked for their recommendations. I had steak fillet and vegetables and my wife had shrimp/prawns with rice. It is fantastic that one can order these dishes in a cheap and cheerful environment but moreover, they tasted really good. As a free treat, we were sent a bowl of cheese fritters with dip as a welcome to Colombia before we had finished our meal. Nice touch and proof that Colombians are friendly, genuine hosts. This is a good value eatery where you can have fresh and healthy food in quick order when on the run. Very impressed.
Do give this upstart a visit. Excellent classics are prepared with the freshest ingredients. Native Peruvian chef, Pia Casteñada, who trained in Spain, has endured months of several delays to finally open this place. Tapas styled plates are beautifully, delicious, balanced and well seasoned. The ceviche and tiradito are made with high quality seabass, not the knock off tilapia on many Bogota menus. Excellent food!
