In response to the owner's reply: The account provided by the employee is not accurate. The door was wide open, and there was no one around preparing to close it. It appeared to be left open intentionally to allow some cool air in. We stood up when they announced they wanted to bring in the chairs after we finished eating. Yes, we lingered for about an hour, and then stood outside for another 10 minutes once they asked us to rise. As we were leaving, the door remained wide open, and two staff members were positioned behind the register. Since the restroom was right next to the entrance, I politely asked if I could use it quickly. Unfortunately, the response I received was extremely rude, and I could see that the other employee seemed embarrassed by her demeanor, offering me an apologetic look. If simply asking to use the restroom while the door is wide open is seen as entitled, then I am happy to accept that label. Is it not just basic decency to allow someone to use the restroom? Perhaps the focus should be on addressing your employee's attitude rather than accusing me. A simple apology for her behavior would have been a far more appropriate response than defending her with false claims and calling me rude.

You can find better bagels in the frozen food section of your local grocery store. Overall food rating: 2 out of 5.

We visited this bagel shop since it was conveniently located near our accommodation, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. All the bagels are baked fresh, and the cream cheese is amazing. I'm really glad we chose to stop by! Food: 5/5.

This is hands-down the best bagel I have had in many years. Spinach and swiss melted and baked over the top of a really great bagel. That alone is a taste treat. Pair that with egg, sausage and muenster toasted together into a sandwich and you've got me in tears it was so good.Food: 5/5

I walked in and asked if I could order and then work on my laptop at their table.Nope. I don't know why their table was piled with chairs, but I wasn't allowed.I asked if I could use their bathroom before I order.Nope again.I don't know what issues they have had. It's Carlsbad. But skip this place. Horrible customer service. There are places to eat all around it. Don't reward them with your business.You're selling mediocre bagels. At least treat customers right.
