Chin's Szechwan Carlsbad - La Costa

Wow! What a wonderful experience. It was absolutely delicious and our server was so attentive, kind and helpful. We will be going back for sure.It was $120 for 4 of us to eat. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. We have 4 boxes full of leftovers to bring home too! We highly recommend Chins.John 3:16. Jesus loves you!?

My husband placed the order at the restaurant, not wishing to deal with the online ordering system. The Imperial soup was delicious; however, the three-ingredient kung pao dish was horrible. There were only two very small shrimps, the same with scallops and the chicken was large slices, not the usual cut cubes. It was like eating shoe leather. I took one bite and that was it. I couldn't even chew it. And this dish was $25! I have read all the good reviews and think perhaps this was an off night, but it was our experience.

Family has been going since before I was born. Was bummed when the OG one closed. But the new spot is great and the food has never been better.

This Chinese restaurant is so cute! The staff was wonderful and the food was amazing.The servers really enhance the experience by making sure you feel welcomed and they are very professional about serving your food.Our server John Smith was very funny and made sure we had everything we needed. He was super attentive!The food was delicious and I highly recommend getting the string beans with pork. It was my favorite dish! My boyfriend loved the wonton soup.I highly recommend checking this place out!
