Ferme La Rebeyrotte - La Coquille

We tried to go to this restaurant yesterday, it sounds excellent, but the map that comes up on TripAdvisor shows its location approximately 100 kms away from where I it actually is. Very disappointing.

My family have been eating here for years. It's the highlight of our annual French holiday. More recently we have been taking friends here as well. It's always the same menu for Sunday lunch, which means it's honed to perfection. As another reviewer mentioned, you do need to like duck! On other days the food is equally good and not always duck based. I've had an excellent lasagne here in the past. It's a family run establishment and the staff are just so friendly. Nothing's too much trouble and young children are warmly welcomed. If you're lucky then a small plane or two will fly in to the aero drome next door. When they were small my children used to love watching them. Actually, come to think of it, they still do! Beware the digestiv at the end of the meal - it'll make your eyes water!

I agree with everything that has been written upstream . i.e. a good duck-based table , a typical perigonurdin meal for 25 euros aperitif and shepherdac wine included there is nothing to say. Besides, it's very copied. the rooms of the cottage are simple but very correct there again for about 60 euros it is really good. After a few flats, the meal is duck or duck all year round including at the hottest of summer. If a guest wants to lighter fish, salad or meat, it's not on the program. the environment is rural, but very basic, it is a real farm, rustic without any fioriture. the welcome, described as very warm on several occasions, personally I knew more warm, but good it is a matter of perception. If you like the crude decaying campaign, and a good copied perigord meal cheap, and you don't attach too much importance to the decor or warmth of the welcome, you are in the right place.

A very good address we tested for the BMW motorcycle club.... duck in all its forms, only farm products, very tasteful, served in gargantuesque quantity, all watered with the good mood of the boss and a very suitable herd.Bref, a very recommendable place.

A pleasant experience. thierry and his wife are revived to make the stay comfortable. offer a regional cuisine menu, based on the duck, with excellent quality/price ratio. The accommodation is modest, but comfortable. the best is the personalized attention of the owners. We arrived by plane and they gave us their car to visit the region.
