La Bocana Restaurante

Come here. Eat here. It's amazing! My wife and I are in Huatulco for vacation and stumbled on it. All they use here is FRESH! I'm a great foodie from the United States and part-time cook. I'd always eat here. This is a family-run restaurant (they let me meet the grandmother). Everything is fired wood and cooked for perfection.

We had lunch here every day. We would return to Huatulco. It's fresh, simple, incredibly delicious. When we first wanted to eat here, it was just after 3:00 and we thought it was closed. We soon realized that the woman sitting on the front worked there and she just invited us by chance. My preferred and first meal from this restaurant was the garlic Pescado (large fish). It was like a house cooked food. The environment and atmosphere is simply perfect, you just have to experience it for yourself. You have a beautiful view of the sea. There are dogs and kittens running around. What can you ask for more? Tip: The smoothies are more like ice shakes and the shakes are more like juices. I personally loved the strawberry (fresa) smoothie.

Great fish burgers and other dishes as well. About once a week or so, we go here for a cold one or 2 and their fish burgers

We stopped in during our visit to LaBocana, the beer was ice cold and the guacamole was very delicious. The menu looked good but we had dinner plans with friends in town so didn’t have anything else. Great service and nice vibe

When I said I wanted to experience authentic Huatulco, that's what I mean! The view from each table is breathtaking. The freshly caught fish is delicious from this world. Hubby had shrimps as well I had to shy him It tastes home...cooked because it is, this is a family business (33 years). You really have something too proud of this restaurant. I'm back.
