I wish I had read reviews before coming here, as I now see others found it to be expensive. Despite the high prices, the service was excellent and the cake was unique and delicious. The coffee was just average. If it wasn't for the cost, I would have given it a 5-star rating. I wanted to experience it at least once, but ultimately, it's just a trendy coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. The location in La Barra attracts a lot of people who don't mind the prices.
I had a mushroom burrito and was impressed by the gluten-free dough made from chickpea and almond flours. The filling was also great! And then the dessert of sweet chocolate and dulce de leche was insanely delicious. There was also one that resembled a "mantecol". All in a pleasant place with the very good vibes of the owners Rodrigo and Sana. 100% recommended! The price is not cheap at all, but it is in line with what one can expect in the most expensive resort in all of Uruguay...
I wish I had looked at reviews before coming here because I later found out that others had mentioned it was pricey. However, the service was excellent, the cake was unique and tasty, and the coffee was decent. This place would have easily earned a 5-star rating if it weren't for the high prices. Despite wanting to try it out, I probably won't be returning due to the cost. The ambiance was nice but we ultimately paid for the trendy location in La Barra where prices seem to be inflated.
The staff at this restaurant were very kind and accommodating. Despite not having the right card to pay, I had cash on hand. They kindly offered for me to come back later to settle the bill, as they did not want me to be left without any cash.
