Los Fogones De Canarias

Just had lunch at this simple cafe in a neighbourhood of Puerto de la Cruz. Did not want the usual large portions served generally here so went for the tapas one Smoked salad salad and a Merluza in a salsa of onions and peppers . Both dishes were excellent, and as big as a normal portion in mainland EU or UK. Could not ask for better and both finished every morsel given including chips with the other. One coffee and a brandy and the bill € 24.10. Who could ask for anything better. Will visit again whilst here on holiday.

We visit this restaurante on a Sunday evening. Nice, with tables both inside and outside. And the fish we ordered, salmon with hollandais, was the best and most perfect cooked fish we had in our week in Tenerife. I really recomend to have dinner here.

Found this place, a bit away from the centre of town. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and very theatrical serving of drinks. Loved it!
