Yagenbori - Kyoto

Dinner was amazing. Must try restaurant. 6,000 yen minimum per person so first we were uncertain, but we loved everything about it and we plan to return soon. We forgot our backpack with our things and when we finally realized (more hours later) that he was gone. We returned and they welcomed us back and had stored our stuff safely.

Great Kaiseki experience in Gion. The course meal was 5500 yen a head that felt appropriate in view of the exquisite food and service. It is not too far from the temple Kiyomizudera, so try to visit on the way down!

Great Japanese experience! Very good service and excellent food. Also has a vegetarian menu.

This place is by far my best accidental find ... order their Kyoto specials sets and you won't go wrong on what is served .... but do order the Grilled unagi as a separate dish because that was the highlight of my day .

The food was not that good, specially for a minimum price of 6000¥. The waitresses were moody.
