Tempura were very nicely done. Wish I could get more seafood paying 7000yen+ though.
Restaurant offered a table at 8 pm but informed us last order is 815 pm and restaurant closes at 9 pm ? Either counter table 10% or private room 15% , which was totally subject to restaurant’s discretion. Appetisers were freezing cold as they were pre made and kept in fridge for god knows how long. Tempura tasted oily and overall mediocre. The entire course approximately cost USD 200 were rushed in within 40 minutes. At the end, waitress refused to call a taxi for us I was shocked , rather, offered to take a picture for us in front of the restaurant I was amused , which we respectfully declined. Worst dining experience ever in Kyoto. Avoid at all costs and you will thank me.
What a gem of tempura! Had a visit tonight, without any questions, absolutely perfect service. Staff are very professional and know very well about everything they serve. The ingredients were certainly highest quality, and the abilities that the Tempura master has are totally spectacular that allows us to experience the most original and direct taste of food. I 100% recommend this restaurant!!!
Omakase is an experience if you trust the cook unconditionally with your meal. He makes the choice and you get to try his expertise in the choice. Thanks Tempura Endo for an amazing experience. The food was amazing and the service was from this world. Our boss and waitress were so brilliant that they even look at us. This deserves individual photos.
