Isomatsu - Kyoto

We stumbled across this place by accident after our intended restaurant was full, we were so glad that we did! Brilliant friendly and kind staff, amazing food, fun upbeat atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for better!

Where is the 6th star. Like many this restaurant flew under our radar. Best meal in Kyoto!!! Fantastic service, even better food!!!

I don’t want to recommend this place to others because I this is one of my favorite restaurants in Kyoto and I don’t this place to be too crowded lol I originally wanted to have dinner next door but it was packed with people so I randomly picked this place. Thank god I found this place. The food, atmostphere, service- everything was impeccable. I wanted to visit once more before I left but I just couldn’t. I was there alone but they were still very nice and make the portion little so I can try different kinds. Food was real fresh and tasty and staffs were very helpful. Highly recommended

We were lucky to get into this place because we did not have a reservation. The food was fresh and great. We loved the atmosphere. And the Japanese white wine was tasty!

The best restaurant in Kyoto. Beef and wine is spectacular. Please do the right thing and spend an evening here. Service and staff all fantastic. Fun and engaging atmosphere
