Cafe Frosch - Kyoto

Me and a friend went here for breakfast. I really liked the atmosphere! I chose the little bread set. For me personally the soup was too thin but I loved the Koji bread!

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but I was disappointed that there were not specific vegan options for breakfast. Instead, I had to order a grilled vegetable sandwich and ask for the anchovy paste to be replaced with olive spread. The vegetables were delicious and the side salad was well-seasoned. Another vegan option was the bread plate with vegan soup (minus butter and yogurt). I was also unable to get soy milk during my visit. Overall, the meal was good but I hope they will offer more vegan options in the future.
