We enjoyed a fantastic feast at Giglo’s Wine House Yesterday. We had booked via Facebook in advance and asked for the full Kakheti experience, which I can highly recommend. An overwhelming succession of dishes, many based on lamb, a few on pork and many solely on vegetables. Only the single fish dish was less interesting. Maybe the most surprising was the exceptional flavor of the tomatoes and the watermelon, which I can not recall to have tasted that good. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options
Family owned and built for 140 years. Grandparents built this original home. Food locally sourced and seasonal. Family wines and aged cognac. Desserts and ice cream is artisanal. Park and museum across the street. Just go. Kvareli Wine Cave down the street. You have no idea what's in store for you. DM me. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
I had an amazing time at Giglo's wine house. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly. The menu had a great selection of dishes and everything we ordered was delicious. I especially loved the Tolma vazis potolshi, it was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back for another visit soon. Plus for the homemade wine! Service: Dine in
