Hive Cafe - KUTZTOWN

Tasty ice cream. Healthy(ier) ingredients in the meals. Mac n cheese is good-doesn’t taste just like nutritional yeast. Even my non-vegan goddaughter ate it!

I have visited twice now and everything on the menu I’ve tried is fantastic. The service and vibe make it top-tier. I highly recommend checking out Hive

This hidden gem is tucked away in the alleys behind the movie theater in Kutztown, making it a bit difficult to find at first. However, there is a parking lot shared with a dance studio for Hive customers. My daughter and I appreciated the variety of options available at this restaurant, especially since it caters to the vegetarian and vegan community. (Although my daughter still opted for the Mac and cheese.) It was a relief to leave feeling satisfied, rather than still hungry.

We discovered this restaurant while visiting family in Allentown, PA and we absolutely loved it! The Mac and cheese was incredible, and we also enjoyed the Reuben burger, red curry, and zucchini fries. We even placed a second order for oat milk ice cream to go. Despite a wait and a large crowd, the staff was attentive and even gave my 3-year-old an ice cream cone for being patient. We recommend placing an order in advance on their website, as they are still adjusting to providing dine-in and Togo orders.
