Stretta Cafe - Kutloanong

Was given the restaurant as a recommendation. Went with low expectations but were blown away. We were a table of six and all our meals were fabulous. The service was excellent. John, our waiter was what you want in a waiter. Knowledgeable, informative and efficient with the added bonus of an excellent sense of humour. We will definitely come again! The food is excellent. The service not so much. The waiter forgot my take away order and gave me the wrong coffee order. Not sure if that's a trend of just an isolated incident. The meals were delicious and quite generous in portion size. Everything was well-prepared and the waitstaff were very friendly. The seating area was spacious and it was also very convenient to make a reservation through their website.

I give Stretta 4 stars because I haven't tried their food yet, but their service and atmosphere are excellent. Their Friday afternoon cocktail specials are a big hit, especially when you can sit by the fireplace in cold weather. However, after revisiting Stretta on Friday, June 30, 2023, my experience was completely different. The cocktails were terrible and we had to return one because the glass had old milkshake residue in it. Despite this, the service was still good and the atmosphere remained pleasant.
