Syrup Cafe - Kurunjang

Ordered a big breakfast here, price is a bit cheaper than other big breakfasts you can find closer to the city. Enjoyed the sausage included, and the beans were good too. Chill vibe and the specials on offer sounded great as well, nice place

Disappointed with the pumpkin and feta tart, pastry was dry and a very small size for the price. This place is too expensive, it is the suburb of Watsonia after all, not Lygon Street. The coffee is good but again cup size noticeably small. Nice little touches with flowers on the table, but felt ripped off basically.

Cozy little cafe just off the main street of Watsonia. The coffee is excellent, the brands they use make a great cup. Breakfast options are pretty standard, but good quality. The toasted sandwiches are something a little different, I had the Reuben, a New York style sandwich, and it was fantastic. Staff are very friendly. Nice little spot.

Forgot to take a photo with my Reuben Sandwiches. Nice food and coffee there. As I live nearby, this will be one of my favorite choice in the future.

I believe the experience can vary depending on when you visit. This cafe is quite small, and the tables are packed closely together. However, the food is excellent, particularly the savory tarts. The lady at the counter gave me the perfect recommendation when I couldn’t decide what to choose, along with a delightful herbal tea that I really enjoyed. As a local, I will definitely be coming back!
