Chutney - Kurunjang

Popped in for a late Saturday night dinner, and still able to order a meal at 9:30 (so did another couple who arrived about 10min later). Not being super hungry my wife I ordered some chicken tikka sliders, garlic naan, garlic rotti, riata and chicken biryani. It was strange they asked “are we sure we don’t want a curry” as they weren’t convinced we knew what we were ordering- biryani was nothing new to me. Anyway old didn’t take too long starting with the tasty sliders, then the rest of our order. One of the better biryani’s I have had incl. those I have eaten in very Indian populated places in the Middle East. The total bill was very reasonable, and coupled with the good food atmosphere we will certainly be back!

Really enjoyed the food and service at this new restaurant.  The cauliflower salad was a hit with my wife and daughter and I enjoyed the lamb vindaloo with naan bread.  Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is pleasant.  Looking forward to going back.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Best cocktails, incredible food, lovely staff and a beautiful interior. Nothing I could even think to improve. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Indian food in Mornington with some vegan options available. Chutney Bar is smart it has traditional Indian dishes but also an Indian inspired brunch menu so there’s something for everyone. <br/ <br/ Waitress was lovely! <br/ <br/ The vegan coconut madras was great! Loved the coconut rice as well, would have loved if garlic naan was on the menu instead of just plain naan.
