Sassafras Creek Food And Design

The restaurant has new owners and a new name. I used to enjoy coming here but this was my first visit since the change. It was quite busy and we had to wait a long time for our breakfasts, which ended up being served cold. The coffee wasn't very good either. My friend's pancakes were burnt on the bottom and difficult to cut through. Overall, if my food had been hot, I think it would have been quite good.

My husband and I absolutely love this cafe restaurant. The food is exceptionally good, being a chef myself I find allot of places are a let down, BUT this place is great. The works are very friendly, and they always find a spot for our pram. There big green breakfast is so delicious. Enjoy spending our Sunday mornings here.

My first experience at Kurrajong was elevated by the presence of Sassafras! Both my mother and I were impressed with our delicious meals and the courteous service. We enjoyed dining in the sunny courtyard surrounded by flowers, and were checked on by the waiter multiple times. I wish there had been more variety on the lunch menu, including options for vegetarians (I had to order from the sides menu). Additionally, I didn't see any meal options catering to dietary intolerances.

The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty! I ordered the gnocchi while my partner had the corn fritters with salmon. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Overall, we had a very pleasant dining experience with a fantastic view!

The restaurant, now known as The Kitchen, gave us a rather rude response when we arrived at 10:50 am, informing us they were closed until reopening for lunch at noon. However, their Facebook page stated they were open between 11:30 am and noon, not closed during that time as we were told. The restaurant was full of customers at the time, but we will not be returning. The previous owners of Sassafras Creek were much better.
