Very delicious mochi shabu shabu. great for vegetarian at 1000yen. for carnivores they also have the mochi beef, mochi pot or mochi nave on 2000yen, 2000yen 2700yen. very unique eating. the restaurant is more than 100 years old. each set comes also with chaswanmoshi and the brown mochi hot desert. next to shabu shabu, they also have many other set dishes too inexpensive. when we visited 13 april, the last order was closed for dinner at 19:30 hrs., as restaurant at 20 hrs. I also bought 6 packages of dried rice cake to house at 600yen per pack.

We didn't have any reservation and walked in at 7pm for dinner. The host greeted us and promptly seated the 3 of us. The menu had photos so it was very helpful! We mainly went there to eat the mochi shabu shabu and it came in the Standard for 1,000; with beef or pork for 2,000; with seafood was higher. I ordered the one with beef and it was delicious!! My husband ordered the tempura and he liked it! The broth was delicious and the accompanying chawamushi and seaweed mochi was also very delicious. Although we didn't see an English explanation of each mochi flavor, we still enjoyed everything!
