Appeared to have a nice menu with good prices, however didn't have items available that were listed on the menu. Got a chocolate milkshake that wasn't a milkshake - tasted like bland chocolate milk. Had spent $40 on lunch and then went to buy a water afterwards with eftpos and was told "minimum spend ten dollars" in a rude tone despite having just spent $40 on food. Poor customer service!
Had lunch of warm chicken salad and chicken Caesar salad. Basically both meals were very ordinary. Coffee was bad as well.
This is the rudest cafe i had ever been in Australia. The owner was very snappy, unaccommodating, aggressive and money grabbing woman!!! My 6 month old baby was slightly choking while we were having breakfast. I quickly approached the person at the counter to warm my baby's feeding bottle so I can quickly feed him and to appease the choking. But the owner quickly said "NO, YOU CAN'T!". So I urgently requested for a hot water in a cup instead so I can warm my baby's formula milk immediately. The owner snapped at me again and said "NO, YOU HAVE TO PAY $3.50 FOR A CUP OF HOT WATER"! and she shouted at us several times, treated us like we can't speak and understand English at all! This was a matter of life and death for my baby and yet she still wants to make money first for a hot water. I highly recommend to look for other cafes and restaurant within the Kurunda Village should you wish to dine for breakfast or lunch. KURUNDA VILLAGE CAFE AND RESTAURANT IS SUCH A TERRIBLE AND PATHETIC PLACE TO GO TO!
Stopped here to just get a refreshing drink- but ended up haveing one of the best hamburgers ever! Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and very relaxing n the outdoor( but shaded) deck.
