Japanese Tea House - Kuranda

Only wow! this little unexpected Japanese teehouse is great! the owner is really friendly and prepares them a traditional matcha tea. bäck is excellent.

Every year, I make a special trip to the teahouse in Kuranda. The host is lovely, and I always look forward to the delicious mochi and perfectly cooked rice with edamame. The atmosphere is a peaceful oasis, a stark contrast to the busy tourist crowds in Kuranda. Treat yourself to a calming escape and satisfy your taste buds.

Specialty tea. Attention to detail. Worth the wait in preparation. Cute location. It is just a lovely little retreat in a beautiful rainforest market.

This is so good i love it i got a mango ice thing and it tasted super nice the guy was very friendly would come good!

Afternoon cuppa tea at the Japanese Tea House, while it was a small location we all enjoyed watching the process of making our cup of tea, very interesting and fun experience....good tea.
