Barrashak - KUNUNURRA

Paid $17 for piece of Barra and serving of chips for one person, I thought it was a bit pricey but figured i'd give it a go. When I picked it up it was a pretty small serving even for one person, everything was dry and overcooked.Asked if the Barra was fresh or saltwater, was told they were unsure and that they buy it from Coles.

We received our food and really were not happy. I work in hospitality so I know that unless it's really bad you don't complain. I'm sorry but the fish was cooked so much it was like eating chicken, way too oily, spring rolls dripping with oil. When I phoned to complain I spoke to a young lady who was very nice and offered a refund. Thanks very much for that.

Over priced and over cooked. Not enjoyable at all. As a positive, it was at least hot.

Here's the new menu for those who are curious. The barra burger is a standout—absolutely delicious! The chips are also fantastic. I'm a big fan of the garlic aioli, which really brings everything together. You'll definitely be recommending this!

This was the worst fish and chips we've ever had. We ordered two servings of barramundi but received six, which clearly showed they were trying to get rid of excess stock. The dish was inedible, with more grease seeping out of the batter than you'd find in a bottle of oil. We ended up tossing it all in the bin. Save your money and avoid this place.
