Saravana Bhavan - Kumbakonam

The rice is not good and the sambar and other gravies are also lackluster. A single vegetarian meal at this price is not worth it. I do not recommend trying this restaurant for lunch.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, with a focus on South Indian vegetarian cuisine. The Dosa dishes here are excellent, and the poori is a must-try. The sambar vada and idli are also very good. Be sure to try the coffee as well. This restaurant is cleaner than others in the area.

I am a regular visitor of kumbakonam and will have my breakfast here every time. the hotel has lost its charm all these years and is only there for name love, they only have a few dishes without much change. the taste has drastically reduced. sambar taste was very bad during my last visit in December. coffee also tasted very average. I already remember avoiding this hotel during my next visit. they also have rooms I don't know.

The interiors of the hotel are very dirty, the foods are okeish (so why I gave two stars instead of one.) the sadst part is the waiter powerfully ask for drinking money. there are better hotels in the environment.
