Gasthof Abfalter - Kuchl

Went to take a bite after a hike to the waterfall. 2 soups and 3 main dishes (carvings, beef and smoked fish). Orders arrived very quickly and all dishes were delicious.

We found the place via TA on our way from the mountains back to Salzburg. It was very comfortable and typical Austrian place. Traditional good food that came quickly. Very friendly service and the staff spoke good English. Kids menu with pencils to color some pictures. We enjoyed our dinner.

Got to Golling late from Munich, and walked from our pension to this lovely jewel of a restaurant. Delicious local favorites (schnitzel, various wursts, etc. and drinks, with a kind and courteous staff. They all spoke excellent English, and helped me with my basic German. Would highly recommend to all travelers passing through the area, as it is off the beaten path, and a great local establishment, with a nice beer garden.

We had a great meal . the service is quick very good food great lemon drink, steaks and schnitzel. you can sit out side when the weather is nice or ibside. the price are fare.

Wie sind gestern auf der Heimreise von Kroatien in der Gasthof eingekehrt und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und die Küche hat einen top Job gemacht. Essen wir sehr gut und Preis/Leistung stimmt. Nächstes Jahr auf der Heimreise kommen wir wieder!
