Zinc Restaurant Bar - Kuching

I had a genuine Caipirinha which was delicious and three tapas. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. Sadly tonight is my last in Kuching. I do hope the Zinc Bar is still going strong when I return. Thank you to all the hands that made my drink and my meal it was perfect.

Zinc has got it all, by design. Unpretentious style avec ambiance. Menu gives you some tricky choices, how to decide? So need to come back. Prawn bisque was so nice I had two bowls and the risotto was full of ingredients and flavour. And Sarawakian Tuak. Will return soon.

One of the highlights for my Kuching trip. The restaurant is 5 minutes from our hotel and is located on the corner of a series of quiet shops. The restaurant itself is full of cartridges. The boss/manager came to serve our table and he is really friendly and the service is top! I have to give every dish we ordered 5 stars because the taste is really tasteful. Both wagyu and pork Ibérico dishes are perfectly cooked to my preference and juicy not yet too dry. Defo goes back when I visit Kuching again. The Scallop dish is also another star of the meal, as the cook made the engraving so delicious that it simply sparks our tastes. Love love! Price could be a bit steep, but it definitely worth the price. Kudos!

1. Once the patronage of this very recommended fine dining area, despite Kuching for several times. Ordered the signature Iberico Pork Steak and it was fantastic! Really enjoy the outside a bit crispy and in juicy experience. One of the best I tried for pig steak.
