Arts Cafe Langkawi - Kuah

Food was okay. Pumpkin soup was not smooth and could help with more seasoning. Sausages that came with the rosti was hard and small portion. Beef pot pie was average, felt like lasagna. Recommended dishes are the lamb shank and mushroom chicken. Prices are slightly steep. Table size can be improved as the width was too narrow to fit the dishes.

Food was average. My husband was upset about the lack of salt, he needs to start bringing his own. My oats could have had a little more flavour. To be honest there's not much to say about this place, the environment was comfortable.

Tom Yum noodle soup was yummy, not super sweet, the meat balls in the soup were tasty with strong black pepper flavour. Salad has wasabi mayonnaise kind of dressing. Beef pie had good flavour but more like beef stew not pie as there was only a skinny pastry on the top but nothing at the bottom.

I think this cafe is a bit overrated. The food is just normal. It was afternoon when we visit the cafe. The cafe is so hot although aircond is available. The hot air can blow inside the cafe because the cafe use air curtain to trap the aircond inside but the air curtain is not functioning. We are sweating while sitting inside. No doubts, the drawings inside the cafe is awesome. Appreciate if owner can fixed the air curtain.

Been here twice a week for the last few weeks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed the meals. Price is higher than other options but the quality and size servings makes it worthwhile.
