Mei Jiang did not serve Dim Sum at the time and the Concierge recommended the Shangri-La. I have often eaten at Mei Jiang and it was always great, however Shang Palance disappointed me, I was expecting more. From my point of view they are only OK but failing to be anything special. So better head over to Mei Juang or probably the 4 Seasons which was the first recommendation but were fully booked 2 weeks in advance. Shang Palace is OK for Dim Sum but not more, however the price is also not to high for such a location.
Dim-sum buffet offers many selections but last time we visited everything was a bit too salty. If you were to ordered a-la-carte, try their signature Peking goose (call and reserve in advance) and crab meat sticky rice.
Always great quality of yum cha and also great service. Definitely the best yum cha in Bangkok
All you can eat dim sum is no longer available fyi. Restaurant should update their menu online. Food was decent but nothing close to Shang palace’s in Singapore. Service was a little lacking in a few ways: 1. They stopped buffet dim sum but continued to advertise it online. 2. A pot of tea was ordered but they charged by the number of tea cups. This is quite ridiculous. 3. Arrived on Thursday afternoon and only a few tables were occupied and yet my waiter seemed to be missing some times and the waitress I managed to call did not speak English. Please be clearer on your options.
My friend’s wedding was published in the place There’s professional services and traditional Chinese servings which was on the menus (pic attached) but also was special menus such as “Grilled duck rolls”
