Pilaf - Kroonstad

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food was affordable and the place had a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend the chicken strips and their craft beer well worth the visit.

Great food, good service, nice ambience. Parking is in the street outside. Menu is excellent with diverse choices across the range without being too complex, food was excellently prepared and tasty. Portion sizes are generous, the waitress was very attentive accurate and speedy. Would have given 5 stars if they still did craft beer, but they stopped it. They may have fired the brewmaster but have kept the chef.

Great food and excellent value. We were pleasantly surprised how good the Greek salad was. Service was excellent and it's a friendly atmosphere highly recommended. Good beers too and we are picky!

We drove from Johannesburg to visit our helper who had suffered a stroke and who was celebrating her birthday. Limited for restaurants to go to, we searched and found this lovely little restaurant opposite the Spur. They welcomed us and were so concerned about our helper. We spent a couple of hours there, and even though we were the first to arrive and last to leave, they were happy to stay open for us. On Sundays they serve buffet and this was nice. The home made custard tart the iwners made was absolutely scrumptious. As a quick drive through I'd recommend this restaurant as a first option in Kroinstad. Thank you Oudorp, for welcoming and making my helper and her son feel at home. Much appreciated.
